Our mission is to help you create recipes that are affordable and easy to make. We believe that anyone can be a great cook with a little guidance and encouragement. We aim to provide you with recipes that are easy to follow and will sure to become a family favorite! Every recipe is easy to modify for either a small family or a large crowd.
This is a simple but hearty meal.
-chicken thighs marinated in olive oil, New Orleans seasoning (I use Weber brand), garlic & onion powder for at least 3 hours.
-pan fried with bell peppers and onions
-add 1 cream of mushroom soup, 2 cans of cream of chicken soup and 1 can of cream corn topped with some more of the New Orleans seasoning
-then add in steamed white rice (1 cup) as a secondary filler.
Served either with southern style drop biscuits or honey Johnny cake (cornbread)
-pan fried diced or stripped chicken tossed with asada seasoning (I use Merito brand) and black pepper
-add bell peppers and onions
-a splash of lime juice as it all cooks together
Serve with Soft Corn or Flour tortillas, top with your choice of cheese.
-pan fry chicken with thin stripped bell peppers & onions, minced garlic & ginger
-add carrots & broccoli
Add teriyaki sauce (I use Kinder’s Sweet Sesame Teriyaki) near the end
Serve with 1 cup of white rice with chicken flavor or your fried rice of choice
**the protein (chicken) can be swapped out for beef**
-Pan fried or slow cooked (3-5hrs) chicken breasts with ranch seasoning, asada seasoning (I use Merito brand), garlic & onion powder.
-thin sliced bell peppers & onions
topped with Mexican Cheese Blend
Served with either Corn or Flour taco shells
*can be served with either Spanish or yellow rice on the side*
-1 lb ground beef marinated in Carne Asada seasoning (I use Chef Merito), minced garlic & onion, paprika (you can use chili powder if you like more of a bite) and lime juice for at least 2 hours
-sauté bell peppers and onions in a skillet, add in your ground beef and cook until brown. *don’t forget to drain your meat mixer*
-add whole kernel corn (however much you prefer)
-while this is cooking, make 1 cup of rice (chicken seasoning)
When everything ready, mix together in the larger skillet and top with Mild Green Taco Sauce (I use La Victoria), mix well and top with Mexican blend shredded cheese and let melt on top for a few minutes before serving.
-1 lbs ground beef seasoned with black pepper & ginger
-thin sliced bell peppers & onions with minced garlic
-1 cup of White Sticky rice
Served with teriyaki sauce on the side
-1 lb ground beef with steak seasoning (I use Weber Chicago Steak), a dash of liquid smoke and a dash of Worcestershire sauce. *dont forget to drain your meat!*
-bell peppers, minced garlic and onion
While that is cooking together, make your rice.
1 cup of white rice with beef seasoning.
When it’s done, toss together in skillet and top with shredded mozzarella cheese and allow to melt before serving.
-1 link of Hillshire Farm Smoked Sausage pan fried with Creole (I use Tony Chachere’s)
-tossed with thin sliced bell peppers & onions
-1 package of frozen green beans
Served with 1 box of Dirty Rice (I use Tony Chachere’s or Zatarain’s brands)
**this meal does have a bite to it**
-marinate at least 1 hour:
•olive oil
•lime juice
•minced garlic
•chopped cilantro
•chili powder
•cumin
•salt & pepper
-grill til cooked thoroughly
Serve with Spanish Rice & Corn
